The exterior unit, or compressor/condenser transfers air from the outside to inside. The indoor air-handling unit convert that air to heat or cooling accordingly. A conduit, which houses the power cable, refrigerant tubing, suction tubing, and a condensate drain, links the outdoor and indoor units attached to the exterior of the building.
